How does it work?
Every entrant will get a name of a person they must make art for through Discord, sent by @sinfulhare. You must then make a gift for your person, but do not reveal yourself to the person you're drawing for. Starting from December 25th, everyone will be free to post their gifts publicly and reveal who they areHow do I join?
While the applications are opens, there will be a registration form you can fill out that you can find on Discord. Follow the instructions there to joinI don't have Discord, can I still join?
Unfortunately, no. For the sake of organization, everyone participating will have to be in the Discord server.
Keep in mind that Discord has an age limit of 13+, so you must be at least 13 to joinCan I join with other forms of art?
At the moment, the event is for visual art only. That means you can make drawings, sculptures, etc. Perhaps in the future there will be categories for other types of art like writing, but at the moment the focus is on visual artHowever, you are free to add non-visual art such as writing as an extra, as long as the main gift fits the minimum requirementsWhat if I don't finish my art in time?
If you fail to make your entry within the deadline, you will be blacklisted from joining future events. There will be helper elves that may volunteer to draw art in your stead, so nobody will be left without a gift in the endIf you know you won't make it until the deadline, please inform the moderators ASAP so that we can assign a helper elf with as much time left for them as possible!What if I don't like the art I got?
We all have our preferences in art, it's totally natural that it might not match up with what you got. However, acknowledge that your Secret Santa put in effort to make your art, and now you have one more piece of art for your character!
Any public complaining about someone's art will get you blacklisted from future events since that is rude towards another person's effortHowever, if you feel that the art you got is somehow harmful or offensive, please contact a moderator and we'll work on getting it sorted ASAP

Requirements

Anyone of any art skill level may join this event, as long as you are able to finish your gift in time for the deadlineDue to Discord's TOS, anyone willing to enter must be at least 13 years of ageAny art done for the event must include at least 50% of a character, and must at least be a clean, colored sketch by the time of the final deadline

Remember that this is an event for fun. Your priority should be to give, not to receive! Please don't harass anyone if you don't like their gift or if you think their skill level doesn't match yours, it's a gift after all!
